Please come to our annual Christmas Dinner, which is as previously advertised, on Dec 13th.  This year we are going to try Villandry, to help our many members in north London (since it has been in West London for many years).  (Joe adds...This is also an attempt to help our fantastic but perennially late, event organiser Erik Gustafson to get there on time). 

 

This year we are delighted that Sarah Lyall (Davenport '85) will speak after dinner. 

It sounds like it will be a great evening.

 

The cost is £35 per head per junior members, and £55 for senior members.

Villandry Christmas menu

STARTER

French onion soup

OR Pear and endive salad, dandelion, bleu d’Auvergne & toasted walnuts

OR Ham hock terrine, with confit of duck, and foie gras with piccalilli & toasted sourdough

MAIN

Baked Fillet of cod with a lemon and herb crust, roasted gremolata potatoes & sauce romesco

OR Roast Norfolk turkey with all the trimmings

OR Butternut squash & baked ricotta risotto with sage and caper butter

Christmas pudding with brandy anglaise

Moist chocolate cake with crème Chantilly
