Country walk: Haslemere circular

Meet 9:00 near the ticket windows at Waterloo station to catch the 0930 train to Haslemere, arriving at 10:20.  After walking for a couple of hours, we'll lunch at a pub, then continue our walk through the afternoon before catching the 17:17 or 17:42,back to London, arriving about an hour later.  The cheapest way to buy tickets is using the Group Save fare, whereby a group of four can buy four tickets for the price of two, so grab three fellow Yalies and save!

In dry weather you can manage with sneakers, but if the forecast is for showers, consider sturdier shoes.  It's worth packing a jacket and something to drink as well.
