Autumn walk in the glorious Chiltern Hills

Alumni and their friends as welcome to join an outing to the beautiful countryside on London's doorstep with a walk from Amersham to Chalfont St. Giles and back on Saturday, 16 November.

Meet 9:50am at Marylebone Station to catch the 10:12 train to Amersham, arriving at 10:47. Journey can be done on Oyster Card. Alternate route to start: Metropolitan Line to Amersham (Baker Street 09:00 - Amersham 09:51; check TfL for intermediate calling points/times). Walk begins after arrival of Met Line train at 09:51.

We'll proceed up one side of the Misbourne Valley to lunch at a pub in the charming village of Chalfont St. Giles. Afternoon return via the other side of the valley. The walk is undemanding but may be muddy in season, so wear sensible footgear.
