ABOUT THE EVENT:
The MIT Club of Great Britain invites you to attend the first event of our ‘Financial Services Series'. It will be held on May 28th, and is entitled ‘Four Growing Trends to Keep Bankers Awake at Night: Redistribution, Disruption, Digitisation and Disaggregation’. We are very pleased the presentation will be given by Laurel Powers-Freeling, a distinguished senior veteran of the financial services sector. There will be an opportunity for Q&A, and informal mingling thereafter.

Laurel has held a number of senior positions in banking and financial services (Morgan Stanley, Prudential, Lloyds TSB, financial services at Marks & Spencer, and American Express where she launched the RED card), was a Director of the Bank of England, and now sits on various Boards (including Bank of Ireland UK, and C. Hoare & Co). More information on Laurel can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurel_Powers-Freeling
