Established in the summer of 2013, the YCL Art Circle was formed to bring alumni members closer to the burgeoning London art scene. Building on the rich art background of our alma mater we organise exhibition private views, gallery & museum visits, art fair tours and other events to explore and enjoy all that London has to offer in the fine arts.

The YCL Art Circle launched with a private breakfast view of the LOWRY Exhibition at Tate Britain in July 2013 and among the events organised to date are:

• Tour of FRIEZE Art Fair (October 2013)
• Private viewing and studio visit at GASWORKS (November 2013)
• Tour of Art14 Art Fair (February 2014)

• National Gallery Highlights tour (June 2014)

• RA Schools Graduate Show visit (June 2014)

• Curator-led tour of Fame and Friendship at Waddesdon Manor (4 October 2014)
• Private Tour of Sculpture Victorious at Tate Britain with Yale Curator Martina Droth (28 February 2015)
• Private Tour of 1:54, the African Art Fair (18 October 2015)
• Private view at the Ione & Mann Art Rooms featuring works and a talk by Marisa J. Futernick (SY ’02) (9 April 2016)

Upcoming events will include private collection tours, artist studio visits and walking art tours in and around London.
