Join current students, players, alums at the first of two days of student polo. It is a great casual day out for friends and families alike.
Inaugurated in 2002, when Yale Polo Club issued a challenge to Oxford and Cambridge, the Atlantic Cup has since grown include Harvard Polo Club in a hard-fought tournament between four of the world's top academic institutions. The tournament is not only a sporting competition, but strives to foster connections between the top institutions in Britain and the US, as well as raising the profile of student polo. Join fellow alums, polo lovers and novices alike at these fun, informal matches. Yale is bringing a team over so you will have a chance to meet some current students -- many of whom had never picked up a mallet before they arrived in New Haven. Matches will be played at Kirtlington Polo Club in Oxford on Saturday the 22nd and at Cambridge County Polo Club in Lode on Sunday the 23rd.
Please note: Photos and other forms of recording may be taken at the event and used by the YCL website from time to time.
