This request goes out to all Yale College graduates, especially recent ones (the grad schools do their own recruiting). The Alumni School Committee is looking to boost its volunteer base, and this is one of the best things you can do for Yale. Please consider helping out with both interviewing and/or recruitment (non-athletic).
The biggest annual recruitment event is the upcoming Fulbright College Fair. Can you help?
The annual Fulbright College Fair, which as many of you will know is the largest College Fair in Europe, is taking place over two days on Saturday 23rd of September from 2pm to 7pm and on Sunday 24th from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
The event requires a large number of Yale volunteers as we spread the participation typically over 4 shifts and we are proposing the following for this year’s event:
Shift 1. Saturday 23rd Sept 2pm - 4.30pm
Shift 2. Saturday 23rd Sept 4.30pm - 7.00pm
Shift 3. Sunday 24th Sept 10.30 to 1.30pm and
Shift 4. Sunday 24th Sept 1.30pm to 4.30pm
Ideally, we will have at least 4 Yale ASC members at each shift, so in total we are looking for at least 16 volunteers over the two days.
Please can you help? This is an important event and for those students studying in the UK and across Europe; this is sometimes the only direct contact they will have with the US Universities at which they are interested in studying as undergrads. The event attracts thousands of prospective students and parents, and Yale is always a highly visited booth. Having exceptional volunteers like you is vital to ensuring that we put our best foot forward!
The Fulbright Fair this year takes place at the ILEC Conference Centre, 47 Lilie Road London SW6 IUD in close proximity to many tube/overground stops including West Brompton, Fulham Broadway, Gloucester Road and others.
